Beard Token Coin

In 1705, Peter the Great, wishing to keep up with the styles in Europe, imposed a beard tax upon all those who wore either a beard or a moustache. Those who paid the tax were required to carry a Beard Token.

This is a replica of that original Beard Token from 1700's Russia.
